Mission:

We believe that curling is a nexus between learning and life improvement. We will not discriminate or create barriers based on age, gender, religious views or intellectual capacity.

Program Overview:

Team Rockstars (Special Olympics Saskatoon) is a not for profit curling program in Saskatoon for special needs adults. It was founded in 2003 and has now tripled in size. There are two streams: A competitive program Sundays at the Granite CC in Saskatoon, Canada. This program runs from October through March and the curlers participate in the CPO generic league, as well as regularly practice. They also participate in two local bonspiels per year…

The second program is strictly recreational and developmental and does not involve competition. It is based out of the Sutherland Curling Club in Saskatoon, Canada and runs from January through March. There are about 12 one hour sessions that emphasize fun, safety, leadership and team work.
